Program Description:
The Beijing Center (TBC) is a study abroad program established in 1998 to provide Jesuit university students with premier comprehensive education about China. The program does this by combining intense language and course work, unparalleled immersion opportunities, and academic excursions throughout the country. Courses offered cover a wide variety of disciplines allows students to both take courses to understand the complexities of China, as well as to advance their degrees.

Students should review full eligibility requirements for SCU's Study Abroad Program.

Students taking intensive intermediate or advanced Chinese may request a Chinese roommate. Yearlong program participants may request a home stay option for second semester. Students are required to live in program housing. Independent housing is not permitted by SCU.
